We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies.
- Present images and patient information/history to the Radiologist for comprehensive diagnostic reports.
- Assist and position patients with compassion and care.
- Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
- Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
- Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
- Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Graduate of an accredited school or college with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
- American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) registered.
- ARRT MR preferred upon hire or must become registry eligible for ARRT MR within 1 year of hire and must complete registry within 6 months following.
- BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
- 2-3 years MRI experience preferred.
- On Call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within one hour of call back.
