Job Description:

L&W Supply is a leading specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing, and other building materials used by commercial and residential contractors. As a local opportunity, we deliver the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a delivery vehicle to/from the delivery site, ensuring the safety of each delivery from start to finish.
  • Unload and stock building materials on jobsites as directed, working collaboratively with colleagues to handle materials efficiently.
  • Oversee the safe loading of the delivery vehicle to ensure accurate orders and high-quality products.
  • Obey all regulatory agency and company safety directives, as well as traffic laws and weight limits.
  • Supervise and expedite the unloading operation at delivery sites to guarantee safe and accurate delivery of building materials.
  • Responsible for site safety as it pertains to the delivery, ensuring a safe working environment for all parties involved.
  • Accurately distribute and place all specified building materials as indicated on the order ticket.
  • Safely and effectively operate a boom, crane, or Gradall as needed, based on the specific requirements of the customer.
  • Responsible for having the delivered product neatly placed and appearing as orderly and presentable as possible.
  • Responsibilities may include warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials on to or off of trucks or into warehouse as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL - Class B minimum.
  • Ability to unload, transport, and position all building materials as required.
  • Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts.
  • Ability to consistently lift and carry 250 lbs with assistance.
  • Straight and/or drywall boom truck experience is a plus.
  • Crane certification is preferred.
