Key Responsibilities
The Senior Portfolio Manager, Team Lead will:
  • Manage and prioritize ongoing workflows while mentoring a team of Portfolio Managers and Credit Analysts.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with commercial banking teams to ensure alignment on new business activities and portfolio management tasks.
  • Directly oversee a select portfolio of complex accounts, ensuring thorough analysis and risk assessment.
  • Review and validate credit approval presentations, ensuring all risks are appropriately addressed.
  • Provide quality control in the underwriting process by auditing work and offering constructive feedback.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Formal credit training from a reputable institution with a solid understanding of credit principles and banking policies.
  • Over 10 years of experience in financial services, particularly in commercial credit.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage tasks efficiently and establish strong client relationships.
