About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Project Manager to join our team at Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC). As a key member of our Crisis Diversion Interim Services (CDIS) team, you will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of services provided by CDIS, with a focus on intensive case management for homeless individuals, stabilization, coordination with community providers, and referrals to an array of natural and professional community providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical and administrative supervision to CDIS Shift Supervisors and other assigned staff, ensuring adoption and incorporation of DESC and CSC program values.
  • Manage the staff and programs schedule for all aspects of CDIS services, including performance evaluations and documentation.
  • Oversee CDIS clinical documentation to ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures, as well as contract requirements.
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews and coordinate data collection and reporting to King County.
  • Collaborate with Program Coordinator and assistant to maintain supplies, a clean and therapeutic environment, and ensure the CDIS unit is in top working condition.
  • Assure continuity of services with Mobile Crisis Team and Crisis Diversion Facility, and other DESC programs through an integrated service model.
  • Coordinate with partnering organizations, including law enforcement, healthcare facilities, and human service organizations, to provide comprehensive services to clients.
  • Develop expertise and strong working relationships with referral sources, back door providers, and community partners to ensure effective client engagement and support.
  • Oversee food service, vendor coordination, facility care, and furnishing needs of the CDIS.
  • Participate in selecting qualified staff and in the hiring process to maintain staffing ratios and ensure compliance with contract and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training to staff on case management, clinical skills, and DESC policies and procedures, as well as harm reduction, trauma-informed, and recovery-based services.
  • Assure implementation of program development in congruence with principles of recovery-based services and compliance with contract, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or other relevant behavioral science or Bachelor of Nursing degree with specialty in mental health.
  • Two or more years' experience in community-based behavioral health services, including working with adults experiencing homelessness, mental illness, and/or substance use disorders.
  • Eligible for a Licensed AAC credential or any other superseding credential that meets RCW requirements to act as a Mental Health Professional.
  • Ability to drive an agency or personal vehicle to conduct agency-related business and possess a current Washington State driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of client benefits screening and application process, King County resources, and recovery-oriented interventions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required by program and staffing needs, including occasional evenings or weekends.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with staff from diverse backgrounds and clients displaying a wide range of unpleasant and/or bizarre behavior.
