Job Overview

Husky Corporation is seeking a highly skilled National Automotive Aftermarket Product Manager and Business Development Manager to drive product strategy, manage product lines, and identify new business opportunities to enhance our market presence and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Management:
  • Develop and execute product growth strategies that increase market share and revenue while aligning with market trends and customer needs.
  • Manage the lifecycle of automotive aftermarket products, from concept to launch.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, competitive products and pricing strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with manufacturer's representatives to ensure effective promotion and distribution of the product line.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, specifications, and training materials.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and growth initiatives to senior management.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the automotive aftermarket sector, including potential partnerships and collaborations with industry players.
  • Collaborate with new product engineers to develop innovative and high-quality aftermarket automotive products that meet customer needs and market demands.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and manufacturers.
  • Conduct market analysis to assess potential growth areas and competitive landscape.
  • Coordinate with marketing and advertising teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns and initiatives to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales/marketing or product management role preferably in the automotive aftermarket or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive aftermarket products, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and business growth.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in data analysis and project management tools.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with customers, manufacturer's representatives, and attend industry events.
