We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Services department at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment and supplies to perform procedures involving the acquisition and processing of diagnostic radiographic images.
- Assist with patient preparation and positioning for procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient records and navigate health information systems to retrieve and input information.
- Collaborate with medical officers to interpret diagnostic images and locate injuries, foreign bodies, or pathological conditions within the body.
- Perform administrative support duties, including answering phones, assisting with inventory, and stocking examination rooms.
- Current/valid registration and certification in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current/valid accreditation as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Illinois (IEMA).
- Current/Valid American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
