We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Friendship Community Care in Russellville, AR. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with Office of Long-Term Care (OLTC) regulations.
- Maintain client medication records, including monthly and periodic medications, and update records as necessary.
- Provide training to clients on medication administration, ensuring they understand their Individual Program plans.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as hygiene, nail care, and weekly body audits.
- Document daily results, BIRs, marks reports, and nurse notes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Communicate effectively with staff, administrators, and clients, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA policies.
- Participate in mandatory training sessions, including those required by FCC and OLTC, to ensure ongoing education and compliance.
- Drive participants to various state locations, maintaining a valid driver's license and adhering to company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a valid Arkansas Practical Nurse's License.
- Meet clearance specifications through OLTC Registry check system.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle safely.
- Computer literacy and ability to operate basic office machines.
- Some clerical experience desired.
The work environment is moderate, with occasional exposure to noise and varying temperatures. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods is required.
