We are seeking an experienced Senior Extruder Operator to join our team in this critical role. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating machinery to ensure efficient production and meet quality standards.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $26-$27 per hour. Job DescriptionThe Senior Extruder Operator will be responsible for:
  • Setting up and operating machine according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts.
  • Able to read schematics, pneumatics, and mechanically inclined.
  • Prepare work orders, and other specifications to ensure the proper setup sequence is followed.
  • Selects, places, and secures tools.
  • Places and secures the parts of the equipment in proper place.
  • Prepares fixtures and feeding devices, starts machine, and engages feed.
  • Observes each machine to verify quality performance.
  • Verifies measuring instruments such as rulers and calipers in proper working order.
  • Sets and adjusts necessary controls to regulate machines.
  • Sharpens tools with bench grinder as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Handles preventative maintenance.
  • Trains extruder technicians.
  • Creates documentations and specifications for machine settings (HACCP).
