Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in the subspecialty of Infectious Diseases. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated candidate to transform their career and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Attending Physician and a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive health assessments and develop plans of care for a diverse and complex patient population.
  • Support a robust ambulatory clinic, including infusion services, and document patient information in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide patient and family education, utilize prescriptive authority, and work in collaboration with the attending physician.
  • Candidates should possess strong clinical, critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills, as well as a passion for working in a collaborative setting.
Requirements
  • NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required (NYS NP specialty area of certification must be consistent with practice).
  • NPI number and Medicare Enrollment with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) required.
  • Initial certification must be present or obtained within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in ID, procedural, and/or infusion services is preferable.

Salary range: $92,000 - $147,004 (based on full-time, 1.0 FTE, and prorated accordingly for less than 1.0 FTE).
