Lead Residential Counselor

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Residential Counselor to join our team at Vinfen. As a Lead Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing direct support to individuals with behavioral conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and brain injuries in a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAC)
- Implement treatment plans and assist individuals with activities of daily living, such as household chores and cooking
- Provide transportation on outings, such as shopping and doctor's appointments
- Model skills for program staff and assist in ensuring that new staff are properly trained, onboarded, and welcomed into the program

Requirements:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a Residential Counselor role
- A high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least one year
- Must be able to become CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAC certified within 150 days of employment
Driving Requirements:
Drivers License check and vehicle access required
