Job Overview:
Cynet Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse to join our team. This 13-week full-time opportunity offers a chance to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, providing high-quality patient care in the PICU.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide comprehensive care to patients in the PICU.
  • Manage patient cases involving cleft palate repair, appendectomy, chest tube management, lumbar punctures, and seizure management.
  • Perform non-invasive cardiology procedures, excluding neurosurgery and stroke cases.
  • Handle responsibilities for cases in neuro, orthopedic, general surgery, and thoracic areas, including thoracotomy/thoracoscopy and pectus bar implants.
  • Maintain accurate records using EMR systems, preferably Meditech.
  • Ensure a patient ratio of med/surg 4/1 at all times.
  • Comply with dress code requirements by wearing royal blue scrubs.
  • Be available to work a minimum of 4 weekend days every 4 weeks.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment where everyone supports each other.
  • May be required to float to NICU Level 1 or 2 as needed.
  • Pursue unit guidelines and policies to deliver exceptional patient care.
