Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the Operating Room by setting up sterilized instruments, positioning patients, and assisting with gloves and gowns.
  • Assist the surgical team as needed, passing instruments, fluids, and supplies, holding retractors, and preparing equipment.
  • Provide proper counting techniques for all instruments, sponges, and tools.
  • Assist with transport and transfer of patients.
  • Apply safety procedures and principles in all actions.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Minimum 1-year Certified Surgical Technician experience required.
  • Certified Surgical Technician (CST), or Certified Surgical Technician (CST), or Technician in Surgery (NCCT) Certification(s) are Required.
