Position Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in fulfilling the Mission and Vision of Providence Health & Services. This position involves assisting Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses with patient care responsibilities and various unit-based tasks within the designated department.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Education that meets certification, licensing, or registration requirements.
  • California Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in acute, sub-acute, or skilled nursing facilities, or one (1) year of experience in an acute hospital environment.
