About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our company culture and encouraging excellence and high team morale. They will also develop and implement goals, procedures, and policies in coordination with management, identify improvement gaps, and assist with deploying corrective measures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Develop and implement tax strategies and procedures
  • Manage and prepare individual, partnership, corporate, and estate tax returns
  • Manage IRS and state tax notices to resolution
  • Assist in the management of the tax team and its processes
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients

Requirements

  • Active CPA License
  • 3-5 years of tax experience preparing business, trust, and individual returns
  • 3-5 years of strong accounting background
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience with UltaTax and SurePrep (desirable)
