Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health in Fredericksburg, VA.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that offers a competitive compensation package, including a $5,000 sign-on bonus for day shift LVTs. As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and working closely with our veterinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Assist with surgical nursing, including preparing patients for surgery and monitoring their recovery.
- Conduct radiographs and other diagnostic tests as needed.
- Work closely with our veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills, including placing IV catheters, venipuncture, and anesthesia induction and monitoring.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the different needs of each patient.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, clients, and colleagues.
