Licensed Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our veterinarians during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Collecting diagnostic samples and imaging for analysis, while understanding normal parameter markers to facilitate diagnostic preparation and communication with veterinarians.
- Assisting veterinarians in all aspects of surgical procedures, including developing anesthetic protocols, administering pre-medications and induction agents, intubation, surgical prep, maintenance and monitoring of general anesthesia, and recovery care of patients post-anesthetic episodes.
- Calculating, creating, and administering constant rate infusions, such as Dopamine CRIs, Fentanyl CRIs, and Lidocaine CRIs.
- Providing patient and empathetic client service skills when communicating with clients at all stages of their visit, including triaging, discharging, or providing medical updates on hospitalized patients.
- Properly discharging patients by filling all required medications, ensuring patients are clean and comfortable, removing intravenous catheters, approving final invoices, and reviewing discharges with pet owners.
