Rod Buster Position

We are seeking highly skilled Rod Busters to reinforce concrete structures and ensure their strength and integrity. As a Rod Buster at Perpetual Labor Sourcing, you will be responsible for:

1. Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and placement of reinforcing steel bars (rebar)
2. Cutting, bending, and shaping rebar using tools such as rebar cutters, benders, and tier guns
3. Assembling and securing rebar cages and mats using wire, clips, or welds
4. Installing rebar in concrete forms according to established procedures and safety guidelines
5. Inspecting and repairing existing rebar installations as needed
6. Collaborating with other construction team members to ensure project requirements are met
7. Following all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

1. Proven experience as a Rod Buster or similar role in the construction industry
2. Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications
3. Strong knowledge of rebar types, sizes, and installation techniques
4. Ability to use rebar cutting, bending, and shaping tools effectively
5. Excellent mathematical skills for measuring, cutting, and bending rebar accurately
6. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
7. Physical stamina and strength to lift, carry, and manipulate heavy rebar
8. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
