The Equity Options Consultant plays a vital role within the Options Division of Stifel's Investment Products and Services portfolio.
This position involves close collaboration with team members to provide comprehensive product knowledge and exceptional service to Financial Advisors (FAs) and their clientele.
The role demands robust analytical and quantitative abilities alongside a deep understanding of the equity options landscape.Key Responsibilities
- Leverage data to generate actionable options strategy recommendations for FAs and clients.
- Formulate marketing initiatives and distribution plans to optimize FA engagement.
- Partner with advisors to identify solutions tailored to specific client requirements, including income generation, risk mitigation, and speculative strategies.
- Collaborate with various departments within the Firm to develop and refine risk assessment tools for intricate client relationships.
- Analyze T+1 client transactions and holdings.
- Offer support and training on options strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Strong grasp of the financial services sector.
- Basic knowledge of options strategies and market dynamics.
- Excellent mathematical aptitude.
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 3+ years in a role related to options.
Licenses and Certifications
Minimum Requirements:
FINRA Series 7 and 66 at the time of hire; Series 4 within one year of employment.
Technical Proficiency
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Effectively utilizes Stifel-specific systems such as BETA, Thompson, OnBase, etc.
