Hematology Oncology Associates of Central New York is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our professional team.
About the Role:We are looking for a skilled and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our Hematology Oncology department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for administering medications and chemotherapy treatments, preparing equipment, and aiding physicians during examinations and testing.
Responsibilities:- Provide general nursing care to patients, including administering medications and chemotherapy treatments.
- Prepare equipment and aid physicians during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to give and evaluate patient care.
- Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures to administer patient care.
- Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse).
- Possession of a New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
