We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Precast Concrete Plant Manager to join our team at Enterprise Precast Concrete. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for directing all production and production-related activities, ensuring the highest quality products and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to establish production schedules and optimize workflow.
- Conduct daily production meetings to discuss production schedules, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Direct the production of precast products to ensure compliance with architectural specifications and industry standards.
- Attend weekly staff meetings to stay informed on project status and collaborate with other managers on project-related issues.
- Work with the Steel Shop Coordinator to ensure timely delivery of steel items and optimize production.
- Evaluate the work of direct reports and provide coaching to help them expand their career opportunities.
- Ensure good housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment in the plant.
- Collaborate with Quality Control personnel to ensure production meets QC requirements.
- Assume responsibility for ordering supplies and materials related to production.
- Conduct performance appraisals and review salary or status adjustments with the General Manager.
- Four-year college degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of related experience in the precast industry.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and specifications.
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees, managers, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to understand and utilize personal computer and network software and hardware.
The work environment at Enterprise Precast Concrete is fast-paced and dynamic. As a Precast Concrete Plant Manager, you will be required to work in the plant a majority of the time, wearing all necessary safety equipment. You may be exposed to fumes and airborne particles, but will be provided with protective equipment. The noise level is generally low, with occasional periods of moderate noise.
