Seeking an Experienced Veterinary Assistant

Located just minutes from the beaches of the Jersey Shore, VCA Bayview Animal Hospital is a 3 doctor general practice offering wellness and sick care, digital radiography including dental x-rays, surgery, FAST ultrasound, in-house bloodwork, and hospitalization. We are seeking an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience as a Veterinary Assistant
  • Physical examinations and patient assessment
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Surgical preparation and assisting
  • Dentistry
  • Radiology
  • Laboratory work
  • Venipuncture
  • Catheter placement
  • Pharmacy
  • Patient recovery

The pay range for this position is $16.75-$22/hr based on experience. We look forward to getting to know you.
