We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Estimator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary municipal, industrial, and alternative project delivery design and construction management teams, you will play a critical role in developing accurate, timely, and detailed cost estimates for major capital and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise, facilitate, and coordinate the development of cost estimates for major capital and construction projects.
- Prepare cost estimates by analyzing costs, materials, labor, bid documentation, and specifications associated with each project.
- Design, implement, and maintain cost estimating database(s) using various software applications.
- Collaborate with project teams to review drawings and specifications, determining costs, and assisting in value management.
- Evaluate third-party estimates and track market conditions and costs to validate estimates.
- Provide expert estimating guidance to medium and large projects, even those of extreme complexity.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in cost estimating, construction management, or related fields.
- Experience in developing construction cost estimates and schedules at various stages of design, in accordance with AACEI guidelines.
- Proficiency in MCACES, MII, and other cost estimation software.
- Familiarity with Autodesk products and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in an office setting and may require some field work.
- A competitive salary range of $123,200 - $211,700 per year.
