Your main duty will be to manage the creation, execution, and upkeep of effective food safety and quality assurance systems. The ideal candidate must possess a valid SQF Practitioner certification and have substantial experience in food safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:


SQF System Management:

o Act as the appointed SQF Practitioner for the organization.

o Ensure the effective implementation, review, and maintenance of the SQF system.

o Take necessary measures to preserve the integrity of the SQF system.


Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance:

o Develop, implement, and sustain food safety and quality assurance systems.

o Prepare the organization for SQF certification evaluations.

o Monitor adherence to regulatory standards and customer requirements.

o Conduct internal assessments and promptly address any discrepancies.


Continuous Quality Improvement:

o Identify opportunities for process enhancements related to quality and safety.

o Collaborate with various teams to improve product quality.

o Implement corrective and preventive measures as necessary.


Training and Development:

o Educate staff on food safety practices, HACCP principles, and SQF standards.

o Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in food safety.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related discipline.


• At least 3 years of experience in a USDA-inspected environment.


• Certified SQF Practitioner (required).


• Strong understanding of HACCP-based food safety plans.


• Familiarity with the SQF Food Safety Code: Food Manufacturing.
