Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team at Kenda Tires. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machine tools, building and repairing fixtures and tooling, and reading and analyzing blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate machine tools, such as lathes and Bridgeport mills, to machine parts and support production.
  • Build, repair, and maintain fixtures and tooling used in the production of steel wheels and rims.
  • Read and analyze blueprints and specifications for fabrication of tools and assemblies.
  • Perform other miscellaneous jobs as requested by the Manager.
Requirements
  • Certified Journeyman Tool and Die Maker.
  • 5+ years of Tool Maker experience in a manufacturing environment, with automotive-supplier experience a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, and problem solve.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as a member of the team.
