Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift who will be responsible for working with tight tolerances, performing tooling setups and change-outs on 3-axis vertical mills, reading and interpreting basic blueprints, operating the machine, running metrology checks on parts, and washing completed parts for packing.

Responsibilities
  • Work with tight tolerances on 3-axis vertical mills.
  • Perform tooling setups and change-outs.
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints.
  • Operate CNC machines.
  • Run metrology checks on parts.
  • Wash completed parts and prepare them for packing.
Essential Skills
  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience.
  • Ability to set up and change out tooling.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Experience using indicators, micrometers, and other quality instruments.

Work Environment

This position is in a small, family-owned tool and die shop. The work hours are 3 pm to 12 am for the 2nd shift, with the requirement to train on the 1st shift initially. The environment offers a stable and diverse range of work, ensuring that employees will have new and interesting tasks regularly.
