Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Assembler to join our team at Legrand in Canonsburg, PA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling various configurations of mechanical and basic electrical assemblies used in electrical distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret shop drawings and wiring diagrams to determine component parts and assembly sequences.
  • Assemble parts, position, align, and fasten assemblies, subassemblies, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Make electrical connections according to specifications.
  • Modify parts by drilling, tapping, countersinking, etc. using machine tools, power, and pneumatic hand tools.
  • Measure parts to determine tolerances, using tape measures and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Attach labels and mark identifying information on parts.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. often.
  • Ability to work in a cohesive team environment.

The Manufacturing Assembler will work in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
