Job Summary:

Aleron is seeking a skilled Electronic Assembler to join our team. As an Electronic Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling complex electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble complex electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical products
  • Work within a team environment and independently as needed
  • Perform rigorous product requirements and provide quality workmanship
  • Read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions
  • Develop and refine manufacturing processes
  • Install components and sub-assemblies by providing work instructions
  • Assemble printed circuit boards following specifications and work instructions
  • Use electronic, hand-powered, and pneumatic tools
  • Maintain accurate records for build information, anomalies, defects, and test data
  • Maintain all manufacturing-related equipment and facilities

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with and able to use hand tools and small power tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to read, understand, and follow technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions
  • Provides feedback to manufacturing engineers on ways to improve procedural steps and process implementation
  • Exhibits computer skills
  • Good verbal and technical writing skills
  • Possesses and maintains a good attendance record and can work overtime when needed
  • Good organizational tendencies and practices
  • Proficient in cable and wire harness assembly

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
  • Physical Requirements (Lifting, Walking, Bending, Stooping, Kneeling, etc.)
  • Be able to lift 40 lbs. frequently and at times, for hours a day
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
  • Under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), all employees assigned to this client must provide documentation verifying their status as a "U.S. Person", as defined in ITAR clause A U.S. Person is a protected individual under the anti-discrimination provisions of U.S. immigration laws
