Antora Energy is seeking a highly skilled Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory.
- Journal Entries and Reconciliations: Prepare and post journal entries, and reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Special Projects: Assist with external audit, materials and labor costing of projects, 1099s, sales tax preparation and filing, and other projects as assigned.
- Financial Analysis: Assist with financial statement analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, with a strong focus on inventory and job costing.
- Skills: Proven experience with GAAP and relevant accounting software, preferably NetSuite. Intermediate Excel skills and strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Competitive Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 USD per year.
