Position Overview

The Promotional Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in the planning, execution, and oversight of marketing initiatives that encompass various channels. This position is responsible for coordinating promotional campaigns, managing content and materials, and evaluating the success of marketing efforts. The specialist will assist in the development and lead the execution of promotional marketing strategies that align with overarching business objectives. This role supports diverse promotional activities across multiple platforms, including in-store displays, ensuring consistent messaging, effective content management, and performance assessment.
  • Develop and maintain the promotional marketing calendar.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of promotional marketing campaigns, focusing on in-store displays while also supporting digital, print, and social media efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and effective execution of promotional signage initiatives.
  • Support the creation and management of promotional content and materials, emphasizing in-store displays while also aiding in the development of digital assets, flyers, social media posts, and email communications.
  • Ensure all promotional content adheres to brand standards and campaign goals.
  • Help manage promotional activities across various channels, both online and offline.
  • Monitor the implementation of promotional strategies to ensure alignment with campaign objectives and maximize outreach.
  • Track and analyze the performance of promotional campaigns using various analytics tools and platforms.

  • Create communications for Store Operations and In-Store presentation teams to disseminate to the Field to promote marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in organizing and executing promotional in-store and in-mall events.
  • Support event coordination, promotion, and follow-up activities.
  • Coordinate with internal and external vendors to manage the production and delivery of promotional materials.
  • Ensure that all vendor activities and deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing project timelines, and handling correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate records of promotional activities, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance promotional processes and workflows.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for promotional marketing.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing or promotional roles, with exposure to multi-channel campaigns.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and promotional strategies.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms, including social media and email marketing systems.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, Google Docs, and Dropbox.
  • Experience in managing promotional events and activities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
