Job Title: Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Neurology

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic Neurology team at Penn State Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a designated group of patients. You will work collaboratively with the medical staff to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patients' conditions.
  • Collaborate with the medical staff to develop and implement care plans, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Document patient care and progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • AHA BLS certification prior to end of orientation period.
