Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Imagery Analyst to join our team at IQUASAR LLC. As an Imagery Analyst, you will be responsible for scanning and analyzing geospatial imagery and associated metadata, ephemeris data, and locational data from various sources.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Imagery Scanning and Analysis: Scan and analyze geospatial imagery and associated metadata, ephemeris data, and locational data from U.S. space-based and airborne reconnaissance platforms.
  2. Film Handling and Digitization: Handle, digitize, and store space-based and airborne film on multi-network repositories, in a variety of film types and formats.
  3. Scanner Maintenance and Calibration: Maintain and calibrate book, microfilm, microfiche, and long-roll film scanners, including FlexView, FlexScan, NextStar, Leica DSW700, iS2 CopiBook, Bookeye, ScannX, Kodak, and Phoenix scanners.
  4. Metadata Tagging and Conversion: Tag, condition, index, and digitally convert raw TIFFs into various GEOINT file formats.
  5. GEOINT File Format Generation: Generate and use GEOINT file formats, including TIFF, GeoTIFF, NITF, and NPJE.
  6. GEOINT Software Utilization: Utilize GEOINT software, including ENVI, ArcGIS, NextStar, IrfanView, Archive Manager, and Google Earth.
  7. Geotagging and Georeferencing: Geotag and georeference imagery and data.
  8. Cloud Services and Data Storage: Understand cloud services, tape racks, and long-term data storage.
  9. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense Knowledge: Have knowledge of Intelligence Community and Department of Defense organizations and the USG security classification system.
  10. GEOINT-based AI/ML Familiarity: Familiarity with GEOINT-based artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML).
  11. Optical Character Recognition Proficiency: Proficiency in Optical Character Recognition software.
  12. Silver Recovery Process Understanding: Understanding of the silver recovery process of hardcopy film.
  13. Data Transmission: Data transmission.
Requirements
  1. Physical Requirements: Individuals must meet the physical requirements of the job and be able to lift and carry 25 pounds, lift hands overhead, stand for prolonged periods of time, escort uncleared vendors over significant distances, and push weight on carts in excess of 45 pounds.
  2. Work Environment: Must be able to work at an elevated height, bending, and kneeling.
  3. Color Perception: Individuals must be able to aptly distinguish colors on various film types and systems.
  4. Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel, including overnight, via air and car.
