Job Overview:
As a Geospatial Analyst or Mapping Specialist, you will collect, analyze, and interpret geographic data sourced from geodetic surveys, aerial imagery, and satellite information.

Your role will involve researching, studying, and preparing maps and various spatial data in both digital and graphic formats for diverse applications, including legal, social, political, educational, and design purposes.

You may engage with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and be responsible for designing and evaluating algorithms, data structures, and user interfaces tailored for GIS and mapping systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain digital databases.
- Establish guidelines for acceptable source materials.
- Determine map content, layout, and production specifications such as scale, size, projection, and color, ensuring adherence to these specifications during production.
- Conduct field observations over photographed areas to identify, record, and verify relevant features.
- Revise existing maps and charts, implementing necessary corrections and adjustments.
- Identify, scale, and orient geodetic points, elevations, and other planimetric or topographic features using standard mathematical formulas.
