Job Summary:
Area Wide Protective (AWP) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Traffic Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our traffic management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our clients, employees, and the general public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain safe work zones using proper equipment and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the safety of all personnel and stakeholders.
- Manage traffic flow effectively using stop/slow paddles and other traffic control devices.
- Deliver exceptional service and protection to our clients, including providing clear communication and direction to drivers and pedestrians.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest traffic management techniques and best practices.
Requirements:
- Flagger certification and a valid driver's license.
- 6+ months of experience in traffic control or a related field.
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours a day and lift 50-60 pounds.
- Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
