Our client is a leading real estate investment and services firm focused on the acquisition, development, construction, asset management, and property management of multi-family assets.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, plans, and specifications.
  • Control costs related to General Conditions, approve subcontractor draws and invoices, and field expenses.
  • Produce daily activity reports, monitor and update project schedules, provide direction and coordination to subcontractors, and maintain as-built drawings.
  • Foster a cooperative and informative relationship among the construction team, develop team work atmosphere with subcontractors, and ensure working relationships with management teams and address their concerns and issues promptly.
  • Monitor and enforce company safety policies and procedures, maintain construction sites in accordance with OSHA guidelines, conduct weekly on-site safety meetings with subcontractors, and identify and correct safety violations.
  • Assemble teams to assist in oversight of on-site activities, monitor construction progress and compliance with plans and specifications, and conduct on-site meetings with subcontractors.
Requirements
  • A 4-year college degree is preferred, but not mandatory. A Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Building Science or Engineering is preferred.
  • At least 5-10 years of previous work experience as a Project Superintendent with a multifamily construction contractor.
  • Exempt from overtime, scheduled for a typical 40-hour workweek, but demands can be great and the associate should expect to work significantly more hours.
