Position Overview:
The Lead Radiologic Technologist for Special Procedures plays a pivotal role in the imaging department, ensuring the highest standards of radiographic quality and patient care. This position is integral to the operational success of the Special Procedures Department, which is committed to delivering exceptional diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate imaging equipment proficiently to produce high-quality radiographs in accordance with established protocols.
2. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, patient positioning, and radiographic principles to ensure optimal imaging outcomes.
3. Exercise professional judgment and uphold medical ethics in all interactions and procedures.
4. Lead and supervise the Special Procedures team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and efficient workflow.
5. Maintain and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and digital imaging equipment to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
6. Produce diagnostic-quality studies for a diverse patient demographic, from adolescents to geriatrics.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited radiology program recognized by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or equivalent.
- Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with appropriate state board certification.
- Preferred: Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting as a Special Procedures Technologist.
