Job Title: Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor

Merrill Financial Solutions Advisors work with high-net worth clients to identify their financial goals and develop personalized investment strategies to help them achieve those goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their financial goals and objectives
  • Conduct financial needs assessments and develop investment recommendations to help clients achieve their goals
  • Provide ongoing portfolio management and monitoring to ensure clients' investments are aligned with their goals
  • Collaborate with other financial professionals to provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and economic conditions to provide informed investment advice to clients
Requirements:
  • Currently holds Series 7 & 65 licenses
  • Two years' experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded
  • Minimum of one year experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • Self-starter who efficiently manages time and capacity
  • Set and accomplish goals, achieving whatever you put your mind to
  • Build and nurture strong relationships
  • Collaborate effectively with others to get things done
  • Communicate effectively and confidently and is comfortable engaging all clients
  • Manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks and execute in a fast-paced environment
  • Likes to learn, adapts to new information and seeks the right solutions for clients
  • Thorough and thoughtful in incorporating relevant regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term strategies for clients
Desired Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to partner and promote lead generation
  • Experience balancing investment management, sales activities, and new client development
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a demanding environment
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business-related field
  • Achieved additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC)
  • Obtained insurance licenses
