Key Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Budget Analyst, your responsibilities will encompass a range of essential functions vital to our financial operations.

These responsibilities include:

  • Creating and overseeing detailed annual and multi-year financial plans.
  • Conducting thorough budget analyses to uncover trends, discrepancies, and potential risks.
  • Generating budget reports and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborating with department leaders to formulate budgets and financial strategies.
  • Reviewing and sanctioning budget-related requests and expenditures.
  • Assisting in the formulation and execution of budgeting policies and procedures.
  • Providing guidance and support to team members regarding budget-related inquiries.
  • Engaging in strategic planning and decision-making initiatives.
  • Performing financial forecasting and modeling to facilitate business planning.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in budget analysis or a comparable role within the finance sector.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the proficiency to interpret complex financial data.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey intricate financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
