Package Handler Supervisor

Job Summary

This position is responsible for training and supervising Package Handlers and Clerks on safety, productivity, and various job-related tasks. The successful candidate will hold teams accountable for attendance and submit timecards. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining good working relationships with employees, management, and customers, facilitating training with new and current employees, conducting and participating in group meetings, coordinating evaluations with management, determining best solutions for package concerns, and supervising daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
  • Facilitates training with new and current employees.
  • Conducts and participates in group meetings.
  • Coordinates evaluations with management.
  • Determines best solutions for package concerns.
  • Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to multitask.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
  • Management experience - Preferred.

Basic Qualifications:

Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $25.20/hr to $40.95/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate's work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
