Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Handler to join our team at TerraSource Global. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for executing shipping and receiving duties, inventory management, and material movement within our plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate loading, unloading, and movement of equipment, materials, and finished products.
  • Pull and properly package all parts for shipment.
  • Maintain and organize the inventory in the warehouse area by assigning all parts to the correct location in the JD Edwards ERP system.
  • Perform daily shipping, warehousing, and receiving transactions and work to maintain process accuracy.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of JD Edwards with respect to inventory control, shop floor control, and customer orders or equivalent warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through continuous cycle counts and accurate inventory transactions.
  • Perform periodic safety and maintenance inspections of vehicles, reporting all mechanical problems.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in logistics.
  • Ability and certification to drive a forklift and order picker.
  • Ability to operate small hand tools and pallet bander.
  • Must possess valid driver's license for state of residence and be insurable under the company's motor vehicle policy; must possess a Class C CDL or have ability to obtain one within first 30 days of hire date.
  • Must demonstrate PC skills and knowledge of JD Edwards or equivalent Warehouse Management Software.
  • Proven experience in related field preferable.
  • Ability to support work hours to cover business needs require 10-hr days and some weekend overtime.

The employee may occasionally be required to crouch. The employee may occasionally lift items as heavy as 70 lbs. Specific vision abilities may include the employee's ability to see near and far distances and read and record inventory numbers, counts, and locations.
