Technical Program Manager for Complex System Development

Leidos is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions to the US government. As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of a growing Agile development task focused on delivering cutting-edge technology to support the Warfighter.

The role involves working closely with an agile team of software developers, subject matter experts, and analysts to perform requirements derivation and refinement. Key responsibilities include leading or aiding in backlog grooming, clearing roadblocks, and reporting progress to ensure features are added or improved during the sprint.

You will also support the development of an end-to-end data processing architecture and deliver presentations and demonstrations to the customer. The ideal candidate must be a proactive, self-starter with technical leadership and communication skills.

Clearance Requirement: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

Primary Responsibilities
  • Derive functional, system, and performance requirements
  • Develop various systems engineering artifacts (CONOPs, architecture diagrams, etc.)
  • Develop schedules for features; Perform backlog grooming
  • Write or review documentation
  • Serve as team lead
  • Create various status reports
Basic Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have at least 14 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Alternatively, five years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Experience on a team that implements agile scrum methodology is essential.

  • Agile experience
  • Experience with MS Project and/or Visio
Pay Range:

$126,100 - $227,950 per annum
