Join Our Team as a Banquet Captain

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team at Hotel Albuquerque of Old Town. As a Banquet Captain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our banquet services, providing exceptional guest experiences, and supporting our front-of-house team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and positive attitude in all interactions with employees, coworkers, and guests.
  • Ensure proper flow of service and front-of-house staffing levels during shifts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to reduce operational costs.
  • Focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal communication and multitasking skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training, with a post-high school degree in Hospitality preferred.
  • 2 years of food and beverage supervision or lead experience, with luxury branded hospitality experience preferred.
  • Valid New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification.
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds frequently.
  • Knowledge of Restaurant Point of Sale systems.
