Job Summary

The Senior Corrections Officer position at Indy Gov is a leadership role that requires a strong understanding of corrections and community supervision. The successful candidate will oversee and supervise up to 350 residents of the Duvall Residential Center, ensuring the safety and well-being of both residents and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead team members on each shift
  • Assist the Shift Team Leader in shift operations
  • Ensure policies and procedures are properly enforced
  • Investigate and resolve internal and external problems
  • Implement evidence-based practices for Community Corrections
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years' experience in the criminal justice system or corrections
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Knowledge of leadership, management, and investigative principles
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent
  • One year experience in the criminal justice system or corrections
