Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead to join our team at Gold's Gym - SoCal. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, equipment, and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and oversee maintenance and safety programs for facility equipment, including HVAC systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
  • Supervise the cleanliness and organization of our gyms, including janitorial staff and facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, such as OSHA, and maintain awareness of all changes and updates.
  • Develop and implement emergency procedures and protocols to ensure business continuity.
  • Manage all aspects of building maintenance, including exterior grounds, equipment, inventory, and facilities.
  • Process and oversee deliveries, including receiving and inspecting goods.
  • Supervise and manage maintenance and janitorial staff, including housekeeping and facilities management.
  • Plan and schedule facility modifications, including cost estimates and project management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or college work highly preferred).
  • Ability to work accurately at a fast pace and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to read and interpret complex plans and layouts.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to deliver complex topics to management, clients, and public groups.
