- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for rehabilitation.
- Utilize the FIM instrument to assess patient function and level of independence throughout the rehabilitation program.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in rehabilitation nursing.
- Current LVN licensure that allows practice in the state of Texas or a Compact state.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Licensed Vocational Nursing or Associates Degree.
- Rehabilitation nursing experience preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
