Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the technical and quality control staff on a day-to-day basis, ensuring proper priorities and resources to support operational demands.
  • Collaborate with staff, management, and all departments to achieve quality goals.
  • Prepare the organization for and lead audit processes, both internal and third-party, for IATF/ISO retention.
  • Conduct management reviews of the quality system and administer documentation control and change order management.
  • Direct PPAP and retention of qualification for new and existing products, for automotive, military, or other.
  • Provide technical support and training to ensure projects are implemented correctly.
  • Support the quality systems through identifying opportunities and working to correct them as part of a team.
  • Support purchasing activities through receiving audits, process audits, and verification of raw materials.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and a deep knowledge of lean/six sigma methodology and quality tools.
  • Plastics or wire and cable background, with experience in automotive.
  • Prior direct customer problem-solving experience is a must.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Some travel is required.
