Job Responsibilities:
- Greet guests who arrive by private car and assist guests descending from cars.
- Issue appropriate valet parking tickets to guests when Door Staff is unavailable.
- Drive cars to the hotel or local garage, adhering to all traffic regulations and speed limits, using caution not to damage the vehicle and other vehicles in the vicinity. Yield to pedestrians.
- Assess any damage to the vehicle and clearly note any damage on the claim ticket along with the location of the vehicle when parked. Deposit the key and ticket with the Valet Cashier.
- Open hotel doors for all guests and give a verbal welcome when not parking or retrieving guest cars.
- Provide guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions. Hail taxis as needed.
- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints, assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, etc.
- A valid California driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic.
- At least one year of experience in a luxury hospitality setting as a Valet Parking Attendant.
