Position Overview:
The Cleanroom Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet the stringent quality standards required by EMI and our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assemble and fabricate intricate plastic tube products by employing advanced techniques to cut, shape, and fuse plastic materials, primarily PFA, in accordance with detailed design specifications.
2. Utilize hand tools, bench top welding equipment, and precision instruments to manipulate PFA tubing effectively.
3. Interpret and analyze technical drawings, prints, and work orders to execute the required specifications for each product accurately.
4. Collaborate within a team setting to refine techniques and enhance production consistency.
5. Coordinate with the area lead to manage workload priorities and communicate any shortages or issues that could impact production schedules.
Qualifications:
1. Proven ability to use measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, and protractors with precision.
2. Competence in reading and comprehending blueprints, assembly instructions, and P&IDs.
3. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, supervisors, and management.
4. Self-motivated and proactive in work approach.
5. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
6. This position requires working a swing shift from 3:30 PM to midnight, including a 30-minute lunch break.
