Key Responsibilities:
  • Engineer temperature regulation systems for HVAC, along with lighting and security access solutions
  • Oversee project lifecycles from initiation to completion, including initial meetings, design submissions, and final evaluations
  • Independently conceptualize intricate projects with an emphasis on energy efficiency
  • Develop control systems for HVAC equipment, such as chillers, boilers, air handling units, heat recovery systems, and terminal devices
  • Design Building Automation Systems (BAS) for HVAC, lighting, and access control utilizing Delta Controls technology
  • Generate financial projections for control systems and oversee project expenditures
  • Engage with clients to ensure that designs align with their specifications
  • Work alongside account managers on construction cost assessments and proposals
  • Provide consistent updates to management regarding project progression

Training and Development Opportunities:
  • Advance technical expertise through internal resources and educational materials
  • Develop proficiency in the Delta product range and related control mechanisms
  • Collaborate with peers and supervisors on sophisticated projects

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or over 10 years of experience in building control systems
  • In-depth understanding of HVAC systems and equipment specifications
  • Familiarity with Direct Digital Control (DDC), electric, and pneumatic control systems
  • Strong analytical capabilities and organizational skills
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaborative spirit

Preferred Certifications:
  • LEED Green Associate/Accredited Professional certification
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) designation and membership with ASHRAE
