Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Location: Grafton WI

SUMMARY:

The selected candidate will oversee all technical facets of designated products and/or innovative processes within the manufacturing sector.

This role encompasses the preparation of batch documentation and cleaning records, supporting production operations, conducting thorough investigations, executing corrective measures, and enhancing yield and cycle efficiency.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates closely with Chemical Development, Production, and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Facilitates the transition of designated products and/or new processes into manufacturing.
  • Assesses and tracks actual manufacturing expenses for assigned products.
  • Identifies and executes cost-saving initiatives.
  • Provides technical assistance to production teams for assigned products.
  • Acts as the manufacturing representative on capital projects related to assigned products.
  • Conducts investigations into product/process failures as necessary.
  • Maintains adherence to ethical, legal, and behavioral standards in compliance with the company's Code of Conduct.
  • Implements and complies with all relevant SHE, DEA, and cGMP regulations.
  • Familiarity with equipment specifications and qualifications, deviations, change requests, manufacturing batch records, installation and operational qualifications, procedure writing, and maintenance systems is advantageous.

SUPERVISION:

The incumbent will be responsible for providing technical guidance to chemical operators.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering along with 5 to 10 years of practical experience in a pharmaceutical batch manufacturing environment is required.
  • Hands-on experience with technology transfers and comprehensive knowledge of process engineering and cGMP regulations are essential.

  • Able to collaborate effectively with individuals across various levels and cultures.
  • Strong team player with self-initiative.
  • Proficient in computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations).
  • Capable of managing projects and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of organic chemistry.
  • Familiarity with standard process equipment.
