Position Summary

The Security Operations Supervisor will oversee and manage the delivery of quality security services during a designated shift at a specific client location. This role serves as a key link between the site supervisor, Account Manager, and professional security personnel. Responsibilities include supervising staff on the assigned shift, providing guidance, recognition, and disciplinary actions within the approved empowerment range.

Key Responsibilities
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with personnel and the public.
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on state and local regulations.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is mandatory.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • Intermediate computer skills are necessary to utilize advanced, wireless technology at client sites.
  • Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Communicate staffing requirements to the Account Manager or Operations Manager.
  • Ensure that security personnel receive appropriate training to develop both technical and professional skills.
  • Address employee grievances with support from HR and management.
  • Administer Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and safety programs to outline site-specific hazards.
  • Assist in managing uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles, ensuring proper inventory and maintenance.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme weather.
  • Occasionally lift or carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as necessary during shifts.
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for extended periods.
